Merci Montreal!

Very excited to announce that Eleanor of Illinois has been selected for the 2020 Montreal Independent Film Festival! My first ever screening of Eleanor was in Toronto, so I’m thrilled it’s receiving positive attention from another beautiful Canadian city.

Never Enough: A Critical Look At Jewish Wealth And Poverty From Within

I was so honored to give this presentation alongside acclaimed academic Nechumi Yaffe, one of the first ultra orthodox female tenured academics in the world. We both shared our work about the extreme ends of the American Jewish class experience - I showed pieces from BOUNTY exploring the Jewish 1%, and Nechumi shared her fascinating research around Haredi poverty. It was such a fun, edgy, alive conversation, and, thanks to zoom, we recorded it! Please contact me to receive viewing info for this digital talk, presented by the New Jewish Culture Fellowship and Congregation Beth Elohim.

My film selected by Indie Short Fest!

Thrilled to have my latest BOUNTY series video collage, The Woman Who Heard Too Much, included in the 2020 Indie Short Fest! This piece transforms a suspenseful scene from The Man Who Knew Too Much into the story of a Jewish mother, played by Doris Day, who becomes emotionally overwrought at a live performance of Fiddler On The Roof.
