Introducing Pesach Punk, my newest costume / character project. She’s my wearable interpretation of Passover’s Angel of Death, inspired by the aesthetics, sound, and attitude of early London Punk.

I’m thrilled to share this issue of Image Journal with you, with one of my collage pieces on the cover!! I’ve never had my work on a magazine cover before, and it feels like a big deal. This week I got to discuss the first 2 episodes of The Golden Bachelor on the Fake the Nation podcast, hosted by the incredible Negin Farsad! This new, seniors-oriented season of the franchise has much to discuss, and we got into all of it - hearing aids, elderly making out, late in life fitness, and whether or not women who’ve survived menopause should be asked to sleep in bunk beds (the answer is no).

Hello London and Manchester! I’m crazy excited to announce Anatevka will have its UK premiere in November, at the 2023 UK Jewish Film Festival, where it will show 4 times in 2 cities!! I can’t wait.

Canvas, one of very few funders focused on Arts & Culture in Jewish life, has its own online magazine, the Canvas Compendium. They regularly invite artists they admire to write about the Jewish artists they love, and for their most recent issue they chose me!

What a night!! This last Wednesday my newest short film, Anatevka, had its US premiere at Lincoln Center, and I am still totally blissed out. The film showed on a night of short films by female directors.
My young cast got to see their phenomenal performances on that iconic big screen, and the audience really connected with the film. As filmmakers, we can’t really know how our projects will land with folks outside our loved ones until they show publicly. Hearing the laughter as my film played in that big room was a really special, gratifying experience.
